Eloping in Tennessee

Have you thought about elopement? Do you know that actually you don't need to drive far for a breathtaking view? Tennessee is surely beautiful! From Nashville, the capital of country music to Blue ridge mountain, you have so many options when you are planning your elopement in Tennessee. Here is your inspiration for holding your elopement at Fall Creek Falls, Tennessee.

Fall Creek Falls is the highest free-fall waterfall east of the Mississippi River. The falls are located near Spencer, Tennessee in Fall Creek Falls State Park. There are so many beautiful locations to choose from for your ceremony site. You can either choose to go on top of the mountains or in base of waterfalls. If you still want to have a full wedding experience and invite many guests to celebrate your big day with you, don't worry! There is a wedding venue located in Fall Creeks Fall State Park for you to hold a reception.

While Deanna told me that she was planning to have her elopement at Fall Creek Falls, I was so excited. I know it was going to be BEAUTIFUL! The ceremony site is at an overlook and it’s truly stunning. The overlook is easy to access. The trail to the overlook is less than 0.5 mile. However, the weather was not predictable on that day (Typical Tennessee. Haha..). It was sunny in the morning, but it was drizzling in the afternoon on their elopement day, and it made the rocks a little slippery. ( Pro tips: if you are thinking about planning your wedding/ elopement at Fall Creek Falls, Tennessee, I would suggest you may need to limit your guest numbers for the ceremony especially at overlook.) We had around 20 people at Deanna and Bordon’s ceremony, but I felt it was somewhat crowed.

Fall Creek Falls State park is a perfect place for your elopement in Tennessee. Not only you get breathtaking backdrops for your wedding photos, but there are so many things to do for recreations if you like outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking or camping. You can have wedding/elopement and honeymoon at the same place and your guests get a few days get-away. I absolutely love Deanna and Bordon’s elopement. Here are their Tennessee Elopement wedding photos at Fall Creek Falls.
